ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION

Electric Vehicles are becoming more popular and electric vehicle (EV) charging stations can be installed right in your home. Electrical vehicle service equipment (EVSE) allows you to charge your electric vehicle (EV) in your own driveway. Having a home EV charging station is similar to having your own gas pump at home. No need to wait while it charges. Typically, a smartphone or tablet app will also tell you when your car has finished charging.

 

Most of the major automakers have announced plans to dramatically increase their production of electric vehicles in the next few years. If you are considering purchasing an electric vehicle (EV), you should have your home electrical service assessed by a qualified electrician to determine if it sufficient to handle the added electric load of charging your vehicle.
